NEW PARTNERSHIP PERSHING & PARMIGIANI FLEURIER

The press conference launching the new Pershing collection of aquatic sports watches created thanks to the ambitious partnership now binding PERSHING (a FERRETTI Group brand and prestigious Italian shipyard specialising in luxury yacht construction) with PARMIGIANI FLEURIER (a Swiss Fine Watchmaking brand) was held on Wednesday, February 27th at 7.00 p.m. at Pershing Headquarters.

In an exceptional frame of lights, colours and images shown against the Pershing hulls still under construction, Tilli Antonelli, Pershing President, Fabio Fraternale, Pershing CEO, Michel Parmigiani, Parmigiani Fleurier President and Jean-Marc Jacot, Parmigiani Fleurier CEO, have gone on stage.

The similarity of outlooks and passions is today the core reason behind the two companies bringing together their creative spirit and giving life to a whole new family of highly sporty watchmaking collections, dedicated to gentlemen and lady customers, from the chronograph to grande complication mechanical models.
At the end of the press conference, during which the reasons pushing the two brands to give birth to this common project were explained, all the guests (more than one hundred national and international journalists) have been tranferred to the Rotonda a Mare in Senigallia for an exquisite dinner party seasoned with the great cuisine of Moreno Cedroni.
At the Rotonda, furnished as an authentic fashion show-room, the first range of PERSHING aquatic sports watches were exhibited. The collection comprises two different lines: The limited edition "one-one-five", available in 18 carat rose gold and 950 palladium, created in honour of the biggest and most prestigious Pershing vessel, measuring 115 feet, and the Pershing Chronographs collection, available in steel with four dial variants, which is non-limited edition.

The following day, Thursday Febrary 28th, the press which took part to the event visited the Pershing production facilities in Mondolfo where all the models of the range are under construction, then they were able to make sea trials with some of these yachts - namely Pershing 46', 50', 56' and 72' – at the Marina dei Cesari in Fano, to experience the performance and comfort these craft are famous around the world for.

The new partnership is also the starting point for a long-term association that may also be manifested in more advanced collaborations in creating timekeepers customised to a yacht or the customer's wishes.
