PERSHING: FROM THE BLACK SEA TO THE MEDITERRANEAN, IN THE NAME OF INNOVATION AND DESIGN
PERSHING: FROM THE BLACK SEA TO THE MEDITERRANEAN, IN THE NAME OF INNOVATION AND DESIGN
A packed summer events calendar sees the famous Italian yacht company on show at some of the most spectacular marinas in Europe.
Pershing, one of the world's leading companies in the luxury open yacht sector is currently preparing to celebrate the opening of another great event. And this time the chosen destination is Romania. As part of its foreign market penetration strategy, the famous Italian yacht company will be taking part in the highly exclusive “More Than Sea" event organized together with its local dealer, Franco's Marina Yachts.
On Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29, numerous prestigious guests, including leading Romanian and international celebrities, such as Ion Tiriac, Ilie Nastase, and Dan Costache Patriciu, will be enjoying sea trials organised in the extraordinary setting of the ancient Tomis Harbour in Constanţa, one of Romania's largest and most cosmopolitan cities.
Three Pershing craft will be available for sea trials, the P37', P46', and P50'.
Pershing 37'
This open cruiser, with its distinctive sports style and sleek, harmonious shape, has been deliberately designed to offer the pleasure of top-class yachting over and above its size. An aggressive spirit and smooth sailing thanks to its special hull design and shaft drive transmission, make the Pershing 37' a craft that is truly extraordinary for its size. The boat's performance has also been further improved by the addition of a new Yanmar 370 hp engine that allows it to reach speeds of up to 36 knots, guaranteeing dynamic sailing in all kinds of sea conditions.
Pershing 46'
The new little big design that encloses in approximately 16 metres the long experience of the boatyard in combining superb performance, superior on-board comfort, can really fit the unthinkable. The best in comfort and design unite harmoniously and with supreme functionality in three spacious cabins with en- suite bathrooms that find in the intelligent dimensions of the Pershing 46' all the space they need, thanks also to the VIP cabin's separate access.
Pershing 50'
Innovative streamlining and extraordinary elegance. A unique sporting design magnified by refined, spacious interiors. This is the Pershing 50', the expression of the Next Generation, which despite its clear sports style has interiors that satisfy the expectations of those who are already familiar with the style and elegance of the boatyard. It is no coincidence that the craft became the shipyard's Best Selling Model and continues to be applauded by sector experts.
At the same time as the event in Romania, Pershing continues its Sea Show, the yachting tour that stops at some of the most spectacular marinas in the Mediterranean and which this year celebrates its second edition. The star of this truly unique yachting event that tours a number of Europe's best-loved harbours, is the shipyard's latest revolutionary creation, the Pershing 64'.
Three stopovers offer customers, journalists and the general public the privilege of sea trials before the craft is unveiled at the major boat shows. But also three stunning locations, in perfect harmony with the brand's prestigious, international personality. Beginning in Italy, in Milan, where the new Pershing 64' was unveiled during Design Week last April, continuing onto Portorose in Slovenia, and then finishing in the sunshine of Palma di Mallorca in Spain, where the 2008 Sea Show will enjoy its final leg on July 25 and 26.
Pershing 64'
"To surprise the future", is the concept that has guided the creation of the shipyard's latest challenge. This craft boasts all the space and luxury of a fly bridge yacht combined with aggressive open yacht contours and sports style performance. It has a modern, sleek design emphasized by single-stretch side windows and a highly versatile saloon on the same level as the cockpit. An exclusive retractable glass partition slides open to join the two areas into one vast space or closes to separate them. The craft's highly original internal layout creates a great sense of space, and painstaking care has been taken over every detail, like the helm station created by the close collaboration of Pershing and Poltrona Frau designers. The galley has also been positioned in a new location, at an intermediate level, thus leaving the entire below deck area free to become a prestigious night zone that has never been so well organised in a craft this size. There are three remarkably spacious cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom, and the Master cabin is particularly exclusive, thanks to the natural light that streams through its two large open-view windows.
