Pershing and Stardom leading figures at the Fano Yacht Festival 2009:six Pershing models on hand for sea trials

14th April 2009 – Pershing is a brand of Ferretti S.p.A., world leader in designing, building and marketing luxury motoryachts. The company has confirmed its participation at the Fano Yacht Festival 2009, an event now in its fifth year.

All the leading names in the nautical sector have confirmed they will be at the Adriatic Boat Show, to be held from 22nd to 26th April at the tourist port of Marina dei Cesari in Fano. The event also promises several new features, such as a calendar packed with events and the presence of figures from the world of show-business, who will certainly liven up the boat show in Marche.

The Pershing fleet simply could not miss an event which, year after year, confirms it is one of the most important appointments for the Italian nautical industry. The 2009 event is ready to open its doors in style, with positive forecasts which aim to surpass the over 35,000 visitors who crowded the last event.

The roundup of yachts which Stardom - Pershing's exclusive dealer for Italy - is displaying, ranges from 46 to 90 feet. Starting with Pershing 46', an extreme synthesis of design and optimisation of space, this model guarantees total comfort in just 16 metres, even when at sea; Pershing 56', an excellent example of the middle of the shipyard's range, characterised by her extremely sporty air; Pershing 64', the open which received a number of awards at Cannes owing to her functional lines and innovative design; the famous Pershing 72', forerunner of new styles which marked a highly innovative moment in the shipyard's history; through to Pershing 80', the latest jewel produced by the shipyard and winner of the “Best Luxury Performance Yacht 2009" award on the Chinese market; and Pershing 90', featuring the characteristics and appearance of a true megayacht.

Pershing yachts will be on show in Stardom's large exhibition area, the brand's exclusive distributor for Italy, at stand N1. But this is not all. Pershing yachts will be available for sea trials, a feature which has always been one of the winning cards of the Marche event, allowing visitors to test all the most interesting models, in an exceptional setting.
