Ferretti Group arrives in the capital of the US boating industry with 16 boats and 2 absolute debuts for the American market: Ferretti Yachts 720 and 48 Wallytender

Forlì, October 25th 2019 – After the success of the Cannes and Monte Carlo Boat Shows, Ferretti Group reaches the 60th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with a wonderful fleet of 16 boats including open, coupe, flybridge and maxi-yachts, including 2 premieres for the American market.

From October 30 to November 3, at the Bahia Mar Resort & Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale, a “one thousand and one nights” dance of yachts and superyachts will be staged, with over 110,000 visitors expected to come and admire the works of 1,200 different exhibitors. It is in this dreamlike and strategically important context that the Ferretti Group stands out, taking advantage of this opportunity for the absolute debut on the American market of two new models: the 22-metre Ferretti Yachts 720, and the 48 Wallytender with its iconic design.

The 2 previews will be accompanied by a magnificent fleet of 14 models:
- Ferretti Yachts 550, Ferretti Yachts 670, Ferretti Yachts 780
- Aquariva, Rivamare, 56' Rivale, 76' Bahamas, 76' Perseo, 90' Argo, for the Riva brand
- Pershing 5X, Pershing 9X, Pershing 62 and Pershing 70

During the Ferretti Group press conference, scheduled for the opening day of the show, the Group plans to announce some of the new yachts that will debut next year, in addition to the primary results achieved in 2019, along with details of the organization of subsidiaries in the United States.

At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2019, the partnership with prestigious Italian and international brands continues. Maserati will be the automotive partner; Pommery will be the champagne served to the guests together with La Scolca, which will delight visitors with its selection of wines, while FIJI Water will be the official water on the stand; Seabob will be exhibiting their magnificent limited editions with customized livery, created specifically for the Group's brands, while Slam will be the official supplier of the uniforms of the Ferretti Group crew.

AMERICAN DEBUTS AT THE 60TH FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

FERRETTI YACHTS 720

Ferretti Yachts 720 gives birth to high-end sailing, an unprecedented experience of luxury, comfort, and well-being never seen before. Created by Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee in tandem with the Engineering Department, Ferretti Yachts 720 is the second project with the exterior designed by architect Filippo Salvetti in collaboration with Ferretti Group. The interior design, on the other hand, was created by the Group’s own architects and designers. Numerous elements immediately grab attention, starting from the eye-catching aerodynamic design with its sporty and harmonious lines that have become a signature of the Ferretti Yachts fleet.
In keeping with the innovation process implemented on recent models, the external forward area stands out for its spacious, interchangeable living areas. The generous 30m² flybridge, in carbon fibre and composite materials, is surmounted by a hard top. The aft swimming platform, a true terrace on the sea with convertible chaise longues and ample storage, can house a tender up to 3.95 metres in length.
The interiors of Ferretti Yachts 720 perfectly embody those concepts of well-being and home-like comfort that have become a hallmark of the brand. A large open-plan space is organised into three zones: the living area, the elevated dining area, and the helm station integrated with the Naviop-Simrad LOOP systems and the electro-hydraulic steering system, developed in partnership with XENTA. The lower deck features a 4-cabin layout: the full-beam owner’s suite occupying a generous 20 square metres, two double cabins with separate beds and one VIP cabin.

48 WALLYTENDER

The 48 Wallytender setting is what has distinguished Wally since its entry into the world of motor yachting in 2001 with the first Wallytender and the innovative proposal to experience the sea in first person.
The 48 Wallytender offers wide spaces on deck, generous interior volumes and special technical solutions to improve the pleasure of cruising, without however affecting those stylistic features, such as the fender that surrounds the entire hull, that distinguish the Wally design, synthesis of form and function. The outdoor spaces are organized in the name of comfort and relaxation: comfortable seats, large sunbathing areas and a dining area served by a fully equipped kitchen. The aft side sections of the boat that can be folded down on both sides are standard equipment, just like the retractable gangway, which turns into a practical ladder for access to the sea. The stern seats can be turned either towards the bow or towards the dining table. The special retractable anchorage system in the forepeak is controlled by a button on the bridge. In the interior, the 48 Wallytender offers a complete suite with large volumes, winning the bet of raising the freeboard without affecting the purity of the lines of the hull. The standard motorization includes two Volvo IPS 650 - 960 hp total, for a maximum speed of 38 knots, and is equipped with a manoeuvring joystick to facilitate the phases of mooring.
